Read the Toyota Case Study (Retrieved from the Presentations section of the course for Module 4. By analyzing Toyota’s unique structure, you will enhance the knowledge of organizational behavior. How can Toyota’s system be both flexible and rigid at the same time, and why do these concepts contradict and support each other? And by what means can an organization be adaptive? After the tsunami in Japan in March 2011, how did Toyota as a company handle this unexpected nature disaster? Writing Guidelines This paper should be 3-5 pages and double-spaced. Add a title and reference page (both of which are not counted with the 3-5 pages). Be sure to provide specific examples and research to support your analysis. Be sure to describe the organization, the culture of Toyota, its human behavior, and how these concepts are connected with each other. Also, write a paragraph or two discussing if you believe Toyota is successful regarding these concepts.
