ANALYSIS OF AN INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS SITUATION
From the first two seminars on Dyson and Volkswagen it is clear that the ‘globalisation of supply chains’:-
– could usefully complement the other examples of globalisation – of production, of markets, of culture, of labour, of technology, of environment, of regulation.
– impacts all of the stakeholders in the international business environment – customers, employees, managers, suppliers, competitors, governments in both ‘home’ and ‘host’ countries.
In the last two years a particular challenge in international business has been the problems arising within the supply chains around the world of physical goods.
